Carson McCullers book, The Ballad of the Sad Café, was a story worth allowance for me. In the beginning the story was quite vague and slow to me. When I kept on reading, I started to discover the secret plan of the story. This was very important to me, because from that point I started to understand to a great extent of the storyline and why McCullers describes the surroundings so much in detail. I like the plot, because it describes the themes loneliness and honor. The story starts in a lonely townspeoplesfolk were nothing happened, until, a lonely women named Amelia, came to the judgment to open a café. In this café Amelia barbarian in heat with a dwarf, called Lymon, who claims to be her cousin. For a turn the town and Amelia were cheerful and not lonely anyto a greater extent. However, Lymon left Amelia for somebody else. That somebody utilise to cacoethes Amelia. Amelia was exclusively again and getting more and more depress. This ca enforce her to limi ting her café and so, the entire town was lifeless again. This brings the loneliness and love forward and in my opinion the writer did this well.

The story is compose in such way one can authentic imagine what the surroundings look like. The surroundings is described in detail. When people are sad and unhappy, the narrator enhances that feeling. An example of this is when Amelia had to close-fitting her café. From now on the narrator has a very blue tone of expression when describing the surroundings. One really gets the feeling as though all hope has been lost. The loneliness of Amelia symbolizes the l oneliness of the town in the story. So, I ca! me to the conclusion that the café symbolizes the life of Amelia herself.
